I am an ER nurse and also live on a farm and therefore, I have a lot of kinks and knots in my neck, shoulders and back. My husband booked me a one hour massage with Thomas at Surfside Spa and it was absolutely the most productive deep tissue I have EVER gotten. Not only DESTIN'S BEST MASSAGE, BUT THE BEST MASSAGE I HAVE HAD ANYWHERE! I always try to enjoy a good massage when travelling. I have visited spas all over the country and I have regular massages when at home in Knoxville, TN. I was in a bad car accident in 1993 and suffered various back and neck injuries. Deep tissue massage and chiropractic treatments keep me going. For the past two years, I have been bothered with intense shoulder and arm pain. After a trip to my Doctor and then to a specialist and all his xrays, MRI's etc., it was determined that I would eventually need shoulder surgery. While in Destin, I saw a sign for "massage therapy" near my condo. I called and spoke the Spa Director Thomas Pfaff. Having just recently spent a lot of time with doctors concerning my shoulder, I was familiar with much of the terminology. As I spoke to Thomas, it was very evident that he knew what he was talking about and understood my problem and came across very professionally.

I got a one hour hot stone massage by Sanka last week and LOVED it! I needed some relaxation and some "me time" and she definitely took care of that for me! When we come back to Destin, I will be back! Laura

I went to Thomas when I was attending a conference and developed a horrible headache and pain in my neck and shoulders. I was almost in tears with pain. Not only did Thomas give me relief, he worked with me on developing posture and other techniques to protect against the pain and tension I am very experienced with massage and this was far and above one of the best I have ever had. I just wish he was in my hometown! Dawn

My best friend and I got one hour massages from Thomas and Palma. We both left saying that was the best massage we've ever had. They customized the massage for our problem areas and really listened to our needs. I did a lot of research on the different spas in the area and have NO complaints about our trip to the Surfside spa. The price was the best and I cant imagine the massages being better anywhere else. I only wish I got the 90 min massage instead of the 60 min. Alix

We had a couple's massage on a Thursday. It was so good, we decided to go back on Saturday. Scheduling was easy. Thomas and Palma were very knowledgeable. If you play sports and need a massage to work our knots or tightness, this is the place. The both of them have a thorough understanding of how muscles work together. Katherine

Thomas is an outstanding masseur. He was extremely flexible with scheduling, very friendly and quite professional. The massage, itself, was fantastic. Thomas has large hands, which allows for a massage that you know you've had. A Trip Advisor Member

My parents and I visited Destin for my dad's birthday the first thing we needed when we arrived was a massage. Surfside spa was awesome!!! My mom and dad had a swedish couples massage with Palma, and Tabitha and I had a swedish massage with Tom. A Trip Advisor Member
